چکیده
This study was conducted to determine the fecundity, oviposition rhythm and clutch number variations of overwintering adult green shield bug (GSB) Palomena prasina (Hemiptera: Pentatomidae) in cages hazelnut. The adults GSB collected from hazelnut orchards were taken into on selected branches, one pair placed each cage carried out with 20 repetitions. Daily observations made during April-June (April 18-June 22) it found that pest laid 94.88 eggs per female as a result feeding fruits under field conditions. Oviposition period females 32 days average. average egg clutches is 4.38 last week April until third June. time required for varied minimum 5 maximum 11.47 days. While postoviposition 12.25 average, death occur day 54.3 females. It most 79 by conditions included 28 14 there an 21.62 bug. As result, determination reproductive behaviours will also contribute biological researches aiming develop life tables, population models control measures.

Corrigendum: Gammaproteobacteria as essential primary symbionts in the striped shield bug, Graphosoma Lineatum (Hemiptera: Pentatomidae)
Many members of suborder Heteroptra harbor heritable symbiotic bacteria. Here we characterize the gut symbiotic bacterium in Graphosoma lineatum (Hemiptera: Pentatomidae) by using molecular phylogeny, real-time PCR analysis as well as light and electron microscopy observations. The microscopy observations revealed the presence of a large number of rod-shaped bacterial cells in the crypts. A ver...

pistachio green stink bug, acrosternum hegeeri, due to its inflicting damages on crop quantity and quality, is of a great economical importance in pistachio production. on the other hand, a knowledge of digestive enzymes, is quite indispensable in the study and application of new pest management technologies. results of studeies have shown that midgut in this insect is divided into four section...
متن کاملThe effects of thermal acclimation on lethal temperatures and critical thermal limits in the green vegetable bug, Nezara viridula (L.) (Hemiptera: Pentatomidae)
According to geographical distribution, Nezara viridula (Heteroptera: Pentatomidae) can be found across tropical, subtropical, and temperate regions and this pattern is assumed to reflect differences in thermal adaptation, particularly in cold tolerance. Here the lethal temperature (LT) and critical thermal limits (CTL) (thermal tolerance) are examined for N. viridula. The upper LT for N. virid...

Harlequin bug, Murgantia histrionica (Hahn), is a pest of cole crops in the USA. Laboratory toxicity assays revealed that the neonicotinoid insecticides imidacloprid, thiamethoxam, dinotefuran, and clothianidin are toxic to harlequin bug nymphs; LC50 = 0.57, 0.52, 0.39, and 0.39 ppm, respectively. Field experiments were conducted to evaluate the efficacy of these insecticides over time when app...

Brown marmorated stink bug, Halyomorpha halys (Stål), is a highly polyphagous invasive species attacking both cultivated and wild plants increasing its threat to ecosystems as a global pest. However, dispersal biology of this invasive species is not well understood. This study evaluated the flight capacity and behavior of H. halys under laboratory, semi-field, and field conditions. Flight mills...
